Puppy and Kitten Care

Puppies and kittens need lots of care in the first several months of life in order to grow and develop properly. They should see their veterinarian at six to eight weeks old for a complete health check and parasite screen. Many animals are born with roundworms or other intestinal parasites that can make them sick and inhibit their growth. Our priority is to treat these issues, begin your pet’s booster shots and prepare them for a healthy life.

For your puppy or kitten’s first appointment, bring any paperwork you obtained from the breeder or shelter, and a fresh fecal sample. Also, be sure to have questions ready so we can address them promptly and provide you with appropriate information.

Senior Cat and Dog Care

Dogs are considered seniors by age seven, whereas cats become seniors between eight and 10 years old.
