Hi I’m Sam!

I grew up in a farm in rural Iowa and found a love for animals very early on. Our cows became like pets to me, along with chickens, dog, cats and three horses, which got me on a first name basis with the local vet quickly. He was very kind, letting little me watch and pepper him with questions endlessly when he came to care for our animals. When I got older, I became a farm hand with a small family farmer which only blossomed my amazement with animals and their care.

Currently, my husband and I call 2 dogs and 2 cats our ‘children’ and we love to spend time outdoors exploring with them. (Yes, even the cats like outside adventures with us.)

My interests include helping my family’s business in metal art, reading whenever I can and paint.
